Yule Altar 2022

This Yule is very simple with all my holiday decor in storage. Although a little sad, it does make me happy to use only what I can make or purchase locally. Here in Italy, the winter is citrus season. The oranges and clementines are in full swing, and I look forward to their delicious fresh taste all year. It's appropriate to set them on my altar for decoration since the bright orange balls represent the sun. Yule is all about the sun returning, after all. I also brought out my 'Blessed Yule' wooden display and Jul Bock that were in my Yule box two years ago. The solstice spiral is one that I made myself.
